This is so satisfying it's almost embarassing. Almost, but not. As the Man in the White Shirt once noted, "It's been a long time coming...well worth the wait."

I got into NLHE because of Wil's posts on poker and his MTT brought me to Stars. It is no stretch at all to draw a line connecting the good things that have happened to me playing poker, WWdN and the WWdN: Invitational. Now Having may or may not be the same thing as wanting, but regardless; it's a fuckload of fun anyway ya look at it.

Nice hand to take our boy out actually. Wil raises in LP with JJ, I to his right, looking at an A and a K from the same court reraise with the intent of racing. he calls. On an all low flop with two of my suit, he open bets. I reraise him almost all-in (my poor math skills at work yet again). He calls and I am counting on two overs and a four-flush. King on turn and something that's eluded me for a long time is now in hand.

Goals are good for the brain.

Wish I had won it of course, I was a monster chipleader early but was a little too loose towards the end and perhaps got a little Dmitri Noble in my hand selection. Oh well, one at a time I suppose. Ingoal was all ovah me - good game biotch, but I will be lookin' fer ya next time.

Okay, prolly more prose than justified by the event, but spiritual feats often seem quite unfathomable from even fifteen feet.
